I was saddened to hear of Aunt Elva's passing. I still remember the bridal shower she held for me and how she welcomed me into the Snowden family. I enjoyed our chats over the years when I would encounter her in town. I looked forward to exchanging Christmas cards each year. She was a lovely person and so caring. My condolences to all her family members. Donna and Brittany Snowden

Laurie and Rick, so sorry to hear about Laurie's mom. My mom just called to let me know as I hadn't heard.
I have great memories of both your parents from MG church when we were just little kids.
Tracey and I are thinking of you during this time.
God Bless!!

Aunt Elva was more than an aunt to me, she was my second mom. I will miss our weekly grocery shopping trips and of course our lunches afterwards. ( She loved to go out for lunch ) Her family was the most important part of her life. She loved each and everyone of them and when she spoke about them, it was full of love and pride. She also loved her gardens and I had the joy and pleasure of maintaining those gardens. It brought us both such joy to watch the new plants starting to grow in the spring and then bloom into beautiful colours. I will think of her this spring when the first spring flowers pop through the ground. I miss her so much but am at peace to know that she is with Uncle Ron in heaven. She missed him so. Love you so very much Aunt Elva and I will cherish the time we had together. All my love, Vickie.

Our beloved Nana was the kindest, most caring person, not only our grandmother, but a mom, friend and role model to us. She had a heart of gold and her faith always helped her through tough times. Nana was a retired nurse and devoted her life to caring for others, she always said “someone has it worse dear” and never felt sorry for herself while dealing with cancer. Nana loved Christmas and family dinners, she made the best cookies, all baked with love. She was a tiny, little lady and always gave the biggest, strongest hugs saying “Nana loves”. Her laughter filled our hearts, we will miss her more than words can say. Nana and Papa loved each other so much and they are together again. Nana was a real life angel, we will forever cherish the memories in our hearts.
