Michael Semak was a hard working artist with integrity,persistence and preserverance. He was my professor at York University,a friend and colleaugue. Christopher Jackson and I were able to contribute to his legacy as a photographer by curating his colour photgraphy exhibition at the J.D. Carrier Art Gallery. The show was called "Blurred Visions" because he was indeed curious about colour,movement, energy and vision. There was never any doubt that his vison as an artist was never blurred.Strong minded and always questioning as an artist and human being.I will miss his way of seeing the world and his quick wit.
It was an honour and a priviledge to have crossed paths with him.Condolences to his loving family.
