I don’t remember Uncle Nige too much from my childhood, but looking at other people’s memories it looks like it’s because he was always having a really good time!! But I’m very thankful for the last couple of decades when I really got to know my uncle and have him in my life. He truly was kind and sweet, incapable of hurting a fly. He always went with the flow, and was ready for a laugh, even if he had just gone through a treatment. He loved hot chocolate, marshmallows as a snack, and Thousand Island dressing! He would say F cancer.....but his stoic fight with no whining or complaining, just silently taking the next step into battle said F cancer the loudest. Thanks for all the love and support over the years Uncle Nige, you will dearly be missed xo

Nigel was one of the sweetest and kindest souls. No matter what he was going through, he would always have a smile, kind word and often a joke xo. I am so thankful to have known Nigel and to have had him share in so many of our family's celebrations over the years. Nigel quickly became part of our family and he will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences Jane, Rick, Kirsten,Donna,Jared, Elana and all his family overseas. Until we meet again, RIP my friend xoxo❤❤❤

Missing Nigel, randomly checking on me, never complaining, always a smile and a chuckle and wanting me to enjoy myself so he could hear all about it. My Valentine’s date at Ajax Downs to celebrate our birthdays. He loved his sexy self and missed his sexy voice. RIP...forever in my heart. Laura

Nigel on his redmobile! What a man! So enjoyed having him over for the Leafs games and singing the oldies in the car on pick up and drop offs to functions and to some of his treatments. He often said f... Cancer! I so admired his optimism and will to fight. A gentle and kind hearted soul!
You will be missed! Love Donna

My condolences to all of Nigel's family and friends. I had the honor to know Nigel for over 40 years, either through our 25 plus years at DuPont and as retiree's. Nigel enjoyed playing cards at the Oshawa Seniors Center twice a week or going for coffee at the OC to tell war stories with other DuPont retiree's from DuPont. Nigel had a big heart and was loved by all and will be sadly missed. R.I.P. buddy!
