Obituary of Annie Ward Hughes

ANNIE WARD HUGHES After a brief illness, Annie passed away surrounded by love on November 13th, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Henry Hughes. Cherished mom to Wendy Margaret Hughes & her husband Richard Matchett. Loved Nana to Catrina Jean Anne Hughes Matchett and Heather Anne Cash Hughes Matchett. Annie was one of 13 chidren, 10 have predeceased her and she is survived by her sister Jeannie Murdoch and brother Charlie McAree. A Funeral service for Annie will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville on Tuesday November 17th at 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society or The St. Vincent de Paul Society. Please be aware, due to COVID-19 regulations we may only have 30% capacity in the building at one time, we thank you for your patience if you are attending.
