So very sorry to hear the bad news concerning the passing of Harold. I never knew him long but got to expect to see him for a talk and coffee at our local Burger King. He was an old friend of a friend, Claude Shields. A kind man. He will be missed. RIP Harold. Condolences to his loving family.

Sure going to miss my dear friend and hunting partner from me and my family. Love you Harold. Harold often talked about his daughters and many grandchildren with great pride. I did not meet many of you but heard about all your many achievements including education, sports, career choices, jobs. He loved being in the yukon but always missed his family. I was fortunate to have met harold forty years ago when he came into my bar the full moon saloon. We quickly became friends and grew to be very close and long time hunting partners. All my kids grew up learning to hunt with Harold as one of their teachers. We are all going to miss Harold on our family hunts. He was part of our family when in the yukon. In particular i am going to miss our many phone calls to each other. Take care all. Thinking of all of you. Love from Speed, Robin, Blair, Dakota,Shania and his many yukon friends.

Harold was a Very nice gentleman. He would often stop by for a visit with my late husband Robert Howard and myself at Taunton Tire. We enjoyed listening to his fishing and hunting stories! He would extend an invitation to us many times to visit him in the Yukon. Unfortunately that never happened. My husband always said when he retired! But ended up with cancer before that took place. My thoughts and prayers are with your family Harold! You surely will be missed by many many friends as well as your family! Till we meet again Patricia Howard.

When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. And Harold had a lot of love to give to his family, and may those wonderful memories help you through these very difficult days. David and I are both truly saddened by the loss of Dad, Poppa and Great-Grandpa. Our deepest condolences. thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Thinking of you all at this difficult time, it’s never easy saying goodbye to your dad or poppa.
I’ll never forget travels in the Holiday Rambler, especially the one to Kasshabog Lake when it was discovered at a stop in Havelock that the fridge door was not secured, oh what a mess!! We carried on and have great memories of the times spent on the beach there, which continue on to this day!!!
My last visit with Harold, he was outside the retirement home with a group of guys, and I’m sure they were solving the worlds problems, with his big Fordie smile. Keep all the good times close, love to all. Xxoo
