Gillian and I were so sorry to hear the news of Bob's passing. He had a long and distinguished career as a Lion and certainly gave us good advice in our Lions journey. He contributed a lot of jokes to our repertoire as well. He will be missed by the Lions of District A16 and we wish to extend our condolences to Joyce and her family. May he rest in peace.

On behalf of the BAM Lions, we will never be able to fill the Big Shoes that guiding Lion Rob, has left empty. His positive energy was contagious. He lived life with passion and laughter, and forever had a joke or a story to share. He could fill a room with his personality and his joy for life. Our hearts go out to Joyce and the family, who he loved dearly. Thank you Rob, for making our lives richer with you in it.
Big Hugs,
Sandra Colcleugh

I would like to send my condolences to Uncle Bob's family. My prayers are with you. I just found out today that he passed away, that is why i am leaving a message today. I wish hi god speed and now he will be with his siblings and parents who have predeceased him Way back in the 60's i remember Uncle Bob visiting us in Dalston, Ontario numerous times. My dad is Lyman Kenneth Rice . He was always fun to be around. He was supportive to us when dad died in 1968. He was the one who told me that my dad passed away.

Past District Governor, Lion Rob was very community-minded and enjoyed helping others. We celebrated his 50 years as a Lion last year, and he also received a Melvin Jones Fellowship Award at the same time along with a volunteer award from MP Erin O'Toole. Lion Rob had a witty sense of humour and when I first met him, he presented me with a 1/4 pounder with cheese (which was actually a miniature wooden mallet pounding a quarter (25 cents) with a tiny slice of cheese! We will miss our Lion Rob but will do our best to carry on the caring of the community in his spirit. Rest in Peace, Lion Rob and our heartfelt hugs and prayers to Lion Joyce and family members - Lion Karen Thompson on behalf of the Port Perry Lions Club.
