Although we never met Carol personally, her love is shown for the beautiful cattle we have adopted. So beautiful and tame. She must have been a lovely lady and we honour her by starting our new herd with these lovely girls.

Carol was a very good friend to my father, Gord Ward. They grew up together and attended school together and had always kept in touch. As he was dying she visited regularly and offered such a wonderful support. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our sincere condolences. Our son remembers visiting her at her farm and showing him her cows.

I met Carol at Spotlight speakers (Toastmasters). She was a kind, smart, witty, lovely lady with a twinkle in her eye. I remember visiting her home where she hosted Toastmasters. She educated us on what farm life was about. She told us about being with her beloved animals when they were about to give birth. I had lots of questions about farm life. She even asked me to bring my sons to see the farm - an offer I did not take - unfortunately. We can hold on to the beautiful memories of Carol. God bless her soul. My deepest sympathies to her daughter and son in law. She did mention you in our conversations.

I will always remember Carol for her kind heart, sense of humour and generous spirit. I had the pleasure of working with Carol and she taught one of my sons. He says she was his favourite teacher. When my dog JD died she kindly let us bury her in her field with all the other animals who had passed. She knew how important it was for me to have a place to bury JD. May she Rest In Peace.
