We have been friends since grade 2 and were fortunate to have “MISS CUNNINGHAM” teach us Literature in the 50’s. She taught us to love reading books and also to love poetry. She was a wonderful teacher and we have many fond memories of her.

Mrs. Sheridan enriched the lives of so many of us growing up and living in Bowmanville, (Her tutelage even helped some of us get through the English program at BHS.) She was kind and made us all better people. She will be missed and remembered.

We have warm memories of Jean while living in Bowmanville. I find it hard to believe that she was almost 20 years older than us. She was a strong, intelligent and perceptive woman. Bob and Jean were a dynamic duo in the dramatic life of many students.
