Ron and I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Jon, Wayne and their families.
Ron knew Cheryl growing up as he was friends with Brian and then later Wayne. As a couple, Ron and I knew Kathey and spoke to Cheryl on occasion and knew of her love of animals.
Please accept our deepest sympathy to the families of Jon and Wayne and Kathey.

Rick and I would like to send our sincere condolences to all of the Obrist and Holroyd family. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news that Cheryl has passed. We shared some good times back in the early years. So proud of her accomplishments over the years for getting her grade 12 and getting her drivers licence and raising four children. Kudos Cheryl, rest in peace. I will treasure our last conversation at Walmart last fall venting our aging and life problems. Cindy and Rick Leblanc

I too, was one of Cheryl’s coffee buddies. I first met Cheryl about 10 years ago....at Coffee Time where my husband nicknamed her Margaret, after “ Hot Lips” in Mash, and for years up until he died that was what we called her.
My condolences go to Jon and the rest of the family, even though we never really met, I feel like I knew you. I know how much she loved and cared and yes worried about each of you. Take care of each other.
We had many laughs, thoughtful discussions and solved a lot of problems over coffee and I will miss her.
Rest In Peace my friend.

To your family I send my deepest heartfelt sympathy...It feels like a bad dream , but there is no waking up from it, I realize you will no longer be coming for tea, conversation and laughter. I shall have my memories, i will cherish, from childhood to present.
..One memory, back in highschool, back to english class with Miss Rusk....Cheryl and I got caught talking to each other, I'm thinking cheryl started the conversation, but we both got caught...Miss Rusk made us write out a page from the novel we were reading in class, after the school day, .her form of detention ...Cheryl finished about 15 mins before I did..she was waiting for me in the hallway when I finished...I asked Cheryl how she finished so fast....she says I skipped words and sentences, .what did u do, write it all...yup I did lol...love u, till we meet again

Not sure how to express my sadness and shock. Cheryl and I had so many fun times together in high school and later into our adult years. Sleepovers at her house (there were many) and nights out partying with our friends are things that I will never forget. Just talking about some of these things with our friends, since she has passed, has reminded me that those were very good times. Although the years have passed and our lives have not crossed as often, I will miss you more than I can imagine. I wish the last time I drove by your house and you were outside that I had stopped to chat rather than "beep" my horn and wave. Rest in peace my friend.

What can I say.....my deepest heartfelt sympathy to Jon and Wayne and families. Cheryl was my best friend when we were kids we were inseparable. I remember a funny story when we were young about 5 yrs.old......hehehehe both Cheryl and I loved carrots and cucumbers, so one summer day we went over and raided the Dadson garden we used their watering hose cleaned the veggies and we ate them. Later that day Cheryl and I got a big plate of carrots and cucumbers for supper, we didn't know that Mrs. Dadson was watching us phoned our parents. Sitting there at the table and our parents probably snickering. My memories with Cheryl will be in my heart forever. Due to this global situation Gord and I will not be at the service.

I am a distant cousin. Lynn Holroyd and I was so saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. We didn't keep in touch and of course at times like this you realize how important all your family is. To all of Cheryl's family and friends, I am truly sorry. And to Wayne Holroyd, I just want you to know that there are plenty of Holroyd's who would love to see you, sometime. May God bless you all in this difficult time.
