My mom and I got to know Jeanette when she moved to Strathaven Nursing Home in Bowmanville this past summer. We had many a chat and visits out on the patio in the nice weather.. My mom Betty Jones and Jeanette became good friends. We will miss her smile. Mom already misses her visits as she would wheel into my moms room often to see how she was. She always asked me how my Mom was, Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time. Rest in peace Jeanette.

Carolyn and all, I'm sad for your loss. I have so many great memories of Jeannette. as cousin to Mom, I saw her as doting mother and grandmother, a devoted wife and daughter in law. Later I loved how she loved to read, how she had no time for nonsense, her clarity and competence at whatever she turned her hand to - vamps, jellyrolls, a clean house. Hers was always the first Christmas card, with a good handwritten note. She liked to laugh and I can still hear it from the time with Nina and the sushi. Sshe was kind and beautiful, with magnificent Clarke cheekbones. She will be missed and remembered. Kim Finn Kate O & Lucy xo
