This goes out to Ron's daughter Sandy Bernier.
Sandy,
You don't know me but I used to work with your father at GM.
I used to ride in his car pool.
I am writing this to YOU because I want to let you know
how much I appreciate you posting those wonderful, memorable, pictures
of your father so that I could see what he looked like since he retired.
I hadn't seen him since the day he retired from GM
and often wondered what he looked like in his later years.
so, thank you for giving me that opportunity.

Ron and I used to ride to GM together back in the late 1980s.
He lived in Hampton as did I and we worked in the same area of GM.
We both worked on the same line at the end and retired just months apart.
He was a great guy. So nice and a friend to me.
I hadn't seen him in years and regret that I didn't get to see him and talk with him
at least one more time.
Good Bye Ron. Sorry your life ended too soon.

Found memories of Ron and the family. Enjoyed the times we would come up for a visit with our boys and go blueberry picking. The times Ron would spend with my boys showing them how to make fresh apple pie in the fall
Ron always had a smile and loved natural.

First time I met Ron was at my parents home when he was dating my sister. He and I on the Sunday ate one of mother's pies she had made for Thanksgiving Dinner the next day. So mother had to bake another one.
