Michelle Rule-Sawyer

Surrounded by the love of her family, Michelle passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019 at the tender age of 51.

Adored wife of Tom Sawyer and proud mom to Georgia.  Loving daughter of Sylvia Gray (Robert) and the late Dannie Rule.  Dear sister of Lisa Rule Lyles (Scott Lyles) and Deborah Rule (Cory Latimer).  Cherished aunt to Danielle, Jacqueleen, Samantha, Owen, Tyson and Ethan.  Loved daughter in law to Tom & Sharon Sawyer and sister in law to Nancy Sewell (Todd Soomre).  Michelle touched so many lives, she will be sadly missed.

Many thanks to all of Michelle’s friends for the love and support, especially Liz, Maureen, Kerri, Caroline and Carrin.  Special thanks to the incredible staff in the ICU unit at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Dr. Eisenstat and Dave for the exceptional care shown to Michelle.

A Celebration of  Michelle’s life will be held at the OSHAWA GOLF & CURLING CLUB,  160 Alexandra St., Oshawa, Ontario. on Sunday August 25, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm with words of remembrance spoken from 1:30-2:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to ALS Society of Canada.   Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street.
