Dear Mary and family members:
I had the pleasure of meeting Don on one of your visits to Nova Scotia a few years ago. He appeared to me to be a quiet and reserved gentleman who was compassionate when he looked at you Mary. I know he will surely be missed.
On behalf of my family, I wish to convey our deepest sympathy to you upon the loss of your husband and dad. I extend my sincere condolences to you and the family at this time. I hope that with time, your great memories and the love you hold for him in your heart will help lessen the burden of your sorrow and pain.
I further hope that you may draw some measure of comfort knowing that others care and share in your loss.
