Heather, Danny, Marilyn and families. We are so sorry to here about the passing of Al. He really did put up a valiant fight against such a horrible disease. We will cherish many fond memories of him and his wacky sense of humour. Nobody loved Al’s jokes more than he did. May you find solace in the fact he is no longer in pain and suffering and remember him for the wonderful father and brother he was. Love Uncle Bill, Aunt Penny, Jeff, Kelly, Charlotte and James.gP

I've always considered Al to be one of my best friends. I knew him for over 40 years, and we've been through good and bad together. He was there for Colette and me through the birth of each of our children and he continued to play an important role in their lives. My fondest memories include Al and I playing TTC baseball together, TTC dances, TTC BBQs and parties, golfing, playing pranks on our passengers together, seeing him in the Big Bird costume for the children's Christmas party, weddings, funerals, birthday parties, and more recently, enjoying Christmas get togethers. I will miss meeting him for coffee in Courtice, and our crude texting back and forth.
We had a lot of laughs together. He was the best friend a guy could ever have.
Going to miss that laugh...that love of life.
Gonna miss you Al. We all will!
Love Brian
