I know my Mom ( Colleen ), my Sisters ( Lorna, Leesa and Kathie ) have special times they remember with Uncle Bill.
Lorna was telling me last night that one of her favourite memories was being “walked down the aisle, for her wedding, by her favourite Uncle “
I remember that day and the great big smiles on both of their faces.
Lorna was beautiful and Uncle Bill looked so proud.
I always have great times listening to my Mom tell stories of her and her brothers and sisters when they were growing up.
Especially her and Uncle Bill getting in trouble together.
I know my family and I have been touched by Uncle Bill and our lives have become better from knowing him
His smile, laughter, and warm heart will be missed
Love you always

Some of the things U.B. ( Uncle Bill ) would come up with.
“ So, do you think it’s hotter in the summer, or in the city ? “
The first time I heard that from him my brain did a nose dive.
Huh?
What?
It took my some time to go through that and figure it out.
As I was trying to figure that one up, I look up to see him laughing.
I remember thinking, “ How does he come up with all these sayings? “
Awhile later I asked him “ Tell me, if you shoot a mime, should you use a silencer? “
I got a great look from him as I said “ finally got ya back “
We laughed.
Years later he said to me “ I never forgot that mime question “
Every time we would get together we had a great time making each other laugh.
I am proud to call him my “ Godfather, Uncle and best of all Friend “.
Love ya

Willando was like an older brother to me, when I stayed with him and Dot in my first job.He was a good husband and father to Tammy(chubby cheeks) and Tracy. Loved his bacon nuked or he wouldn't eat it.I will miss him and his humor. Plus he was one hell of a drummer. R.I.P.

My brother Bill was very kind and loving. Although he was my youngest sibling, I often felt like he was the one looking after me. He was always ready with a smile and words of comfort when I needed him.
I remember the day of Bill’s birth. We were all so thrilled to have this beautiful blond-haired baby. It was such a pleasure when Momma let us help with his care. He was a quiet baby, sweet and gentle.
Family meant everything to Bill. He loved his parents and siblings. As time went on, he was devoted to Dot and his girls. He was blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill will certainly be missed by his large family and his many friends. Rest easy, Brother Bill, after a life well-lived.

Uncle Bill’s fantastic sense of humor was ever-present. We have wonderful memories of family reunions at the cottage, and many other good times together.
Uncle Bill and Aunt Dot traveled west to attend our daughter Tracy’s wedding in the Alberta mountains. This was just one example of his love for extended family.
His warm heart and amazing character will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers for all who are grieving his passing.

- Fun board games into the night around the kitchen table at the cottage.
- Road trips to visit Aunt Lou in Philadelphia.
- Ice cream cones shared in sunny Ft. Myers in January.
- Jokes, some clean, some borderline, all ending with Aunt Dorothy's "Bill!!".
- A lifetime of the 4 of us sharing our ideas on love, life, religion, and politics, talking into the night.
These and so many more are loving memories of our dearest Uncle Bill. Until we meet again in
your new and perfect world.

Our deepest condolences to the family. I knew Bill for a long time as the head caretaker of Birchcliff Elementary School (TDSB). Such a nice gentleman, hard working, courteous. I know it is great loss to the family but I am quite sure that Bill led a peaceful life. May the family find peace and comfort in this difficult time.
