Just hearing this now breaks my heart even more. Shelly was a wonderful woman. Not only did my mom have the pleasure but I aswell had the pleasure to work with her. She always brightened up the mood and made things a little easier on shift. I really hope her family is doing okay with everything and I’m shocked and heart broken

My deepest condolences to you Bill and Donna ; Graham and Cavan as well as Sam. I came to know Shelly throughout my years with Cathy Crawford .
When Shelly came to visit she was always good for many a laugh as the three of us shared a bottle of Champagne. After a glass or two it was " Girls only night"
Both Shelly and Cathy's great ability to talk would take them into the wee hours of the morning.
God only made one Shelly. May God's light be forever shining on you now. Thanks for the many smiles and laughs.

On Dec 24, 2018, heartache become part of me. I am overwhelmed with a sense of deep sadness and emptiness. And I’m feeling guilty, so, so guilty, because I’m here, and you are not.
Your death took 25 months to come into being, and even now acceptance is difficult. But the Irish Human Rights lawyer Simone George once said, ‘Acceptance is knowing that grief is a raging river, and you have to get into it, because when you do, it carries you to the next place. It eventually takes you to open land, where it will turn out ok, in the end.’
But I am so lucky and privileged to have known such a beautiful soul. A strong, loving, mischievous, courageous, beautiful, independent, intelligent, funny, irreverent, sassy and delightfully stubborn badass young woman.
Your inspiring dignity and courage in living with this horrible illness, was a lesson in bravery for us all.
I will forever hold your love in my heart and miss you each and everyday. You are gone and we now have to endure, the unendurable, but how lucky we are to have experienced your love. You made this world a little bit more wonderful. They say the best way to keep anyones’ memory alive is to talk about them, so my promise to you is, I’ll share our stories.
As always, sweetheart. I love you.

On Dec 24, 2018, heartache become part of me. I am overwhelmed with a sense of deep sadness and emptiness. And I’m feeling guilty, so, so guilty, because I’m here, and you are not.
