My sincerest condolences to Nick's family, he was my dearest friend and mentor for almost 40 years, we had great times together and would pull each other up when one of us was down.... Our song was "you needed me" by Ann Murray and whenever we would hear it, we would dance to it.... Great memories, he will be sorely missed, rest in peace my friend.

Sorry for your loss Nick was a great guy he and Joe worked many years together and great times I remember when he helped but the fireplace in the basement and I had made slush and we said don't drink it to fast but he liked it and he took off two day for work.

Nick led a life of personal generosity. He shared his sense of humour, experiences and memories and a positive attitude towards life, no matter what happened. He regularly espoused his belief that: "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much"! He will be remembered by many people well beyond his family. I wish Nick and Julie and William and Shannon and their families comfort in their loss and many conversations and memories of good times together.
