My father, Marion's brother Harold, adored his sister. I remember so clearly this graduation photo as it was kept in a very special place at our home. Growing up I admired her strength and was inspired by her compassion for others. Thank you Aunt Marion for being an example and role model . To all the Burgess family, and to all those who loved her, my heartfelt sympathy. She will always be so dear to my heart.

So sorry about Marion. She will be greatly missed! Although I am her Aunt, we were close in age and thus were more like sisters growing up together. I have many fond memories of the times we spent when me & my family visited Grandma & Grandpa Harvey's at Harwood. Again my heartfelt condolences.

As a new physician to Bowmanville in 1982, Marion took me under her wing and patiently helped me find my way as an ER doc. I'll always be grateful for her kindness and knowledge. She was a wonderful woman.

Thinking of you Janice, and of course the whole family at this time of loss. Marion held a special place in so many people's hearts. I remember she always kept her hands busy knitting and fixing things for everyone. Jade and I always enjoyed going over to Marion and Bills as they made everyone feel special and always welcomed us with open arms. Marion will definitely be missed but we will keep her memories alive.
