Dear Lynda and Jane....so very sorry for the loss of your mother. She certainly was a very special lady.....Will always remember all the wonderful times we had with our parents when holidaying in the summer when we were children. I often think of both of our parents enjoying an afternoon or evening of cards at the cottage. They were such good friends; and sure had great fun making such wonderful memories. Your mom and my mom especially; as they went to school together as children. I am sure that all 4 are sitting around a table having a joyous game of cards.
Needless to say, I am sad that I won't be able to attend your mom's celebration. I have a prior family commitment for both days.....one also being a celebration of life.
Please take good care of yourselves and your families. You are in our prayers.

As a kid, I remember your mom smelled so good. She wore Chanel No. 5. She got me hooked on it; and to this day, I still wear Chanel No. 5.
