Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday October 3, 2018

Beloved partner of Larry Beckim.  Loving mother of Angela Spencer (Donna McPherson), Shawn Spencer and Stephanie Spencer-Silverberg (Sean Silverberg).  Cherished Nanny of Tory, Alexandria, Jesse, Kaitlin, Shawn Paul, Cameron, Liam, Erik, Zachary and Lily.  Great-Nana of Amayah, Noah, Kaira, Liam and Kiyah.  She will be sadly missed by Larry’s children Chris Beckim (Amanda) and Monique Beckim (Tyler Colpitts) and their children Draven, Jewel, Autumn and Peyton.  She is survived by her siblings Marlyn Saunders and Roy Leadbetter and was predeceased by Carol King, Lorraine Chase and Larry Leadbetter.

At Betty’s request no Funeral Service will be held.  A Celebration of her life will be held at Storie Park, 111 Mill Street Oshawa on December 8, 2018 from 11 am – 3 pm.  Memorial Donations may be made to Palliative Care at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville.
