Obituary of Helen Lenora Couroux

(nee Mercer)

Passed away on August 6, 2018 in her 92nd year at home in Kendal, Ontario  the hamlet where she was born.

Helen is survived by her husband; Edmond, daughter; Marie, grandchildren; Scott, Joshua, Brianna and Courtney.  Predeceased by her son, Ray (d. 2003) and daughter, Lynn (d. 2018).  

Helen was a member of the Eastern Star and the Kendal Wildcats Bowling Team. Helen worked the tobacco fields, lands and forests. She will be remembered for her kind smile, her thoughtful nature and her devotion to family. A special thanks to the care team that helped to look after her in the month preceding her passing.  

A Memorial Service will be held at KENDAL UNITED CHURCH, 21 Kendal Church St, Kendal, on Saturday August 25th at 10 am.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville.
