Sincere condolences to the Austin family on your loss. Mr. Austin was my Grade 12 and 13 chemistry teacher almost 40 years ago at Bowmanville High School. I loved his classes, and have many fond memories. One was the "STP" wooden box to show the molar volume of any gas (at standard temperature and pressure of course). And our exciting investigations of the properties of elements and substances. Great teacher, sorry to hear of his passing.

Our deepest condolences to Enid and Family We shall miss Don's wit and humour in conversation. His participation in the many scrabble games we played will always be fondly remembered: His participation the Secchi Disc measurements and water sampling which we collected together from the middle of Harp Lake for more than thirty years is also one of his memorable achievements. His continuing interest in astronomical events was contagious. We will remember you fondly Don!
