Larry, I was there the day you bought your van, and you said one day this will have 6 wheels. Well you got it done and if that van could talk, the stories it could tell. From smelt fishing to spin the bottle rides with the girl's to a roadie to Daytona it was a small part but a everlasting legacy of being part of an amazing group of friends that still to this day cherish the memories it and you provided us with. We will all see you someday Larry and the stories will keep on coming.

To our dearest Manon, Marc and Danielle, Don and I are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Manon, this awful illness took over Larry for so many years and throughout all of those years he was always loved, cared for and valued as your husband. I still remember at the beginning of his illness when he was still capable of going out with you on dates. You took him out for dinner and slipped money in his wallet so he could pay the bill himself at the end of your dinner. You wanted to make sure he could still be the man taking his wife out for dinner and being able to pay for your date. That gesture of compassion and insight into what your husband was going through was so telling of the care, compassion and understanding you would show Larry until the very moment of his passing. You were there until the very end. You held his hand and he felt your love until his last breath. Many people make the vow of, "In sickness and in health". Few people are able to honor that vow. But Manon, you did, and your husband felt your love and knew he was in good hands.
Even two weeks ago when we visited him, you were making sure he was going out and getting fresh air. You questioned staff to make sure his needs were being met on every level. You spoke to him and made sure he knew you were there, still there, always there for your husband. Larry lived too short a life. Larry lived through an unforgiving illness that robbed him of who he was. But Larry could not have had a better wife and was never alone to fight this battle. Larry, was a fortunate man in many ways regardless of his illness. Rest in peace Larry and Manon, it's time for you to look around and see that the love you so selfishly bestowed on your husband is now surrounding you as you go through this loss. Much love to YOU today and always.
