Obituary of Eileen Mary Owens

Longtime Member of the St. Therese Catholic Women’s League and the Catholic Women’s Connection

Peacefully after a life well lived, at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on Saturday June 2, 2018, at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Owens (1983). Loved mother of Laureen Timmers (Jim) of Williams Point, Caesarea, Randy Owens (Kim), Gary Owens, and Glenn Owens (Julie), all of Bowmanville. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by her siblings, her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville, on Monday June 4th from 7 – 9 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY CROSS PARISH, 373 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa, on Tuesday June 5th at 10:30 am. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada, or to the Cancer Society.
