Obituary of Eileen Ruth Demeter

(nee Dundas)

After a brief illness, Eileen passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.

Beloved wife of the late William Demeter.  Loving mother of Debra Morrison (the late Rick) and Peter Demeter (Lori).  She was predeceased by her daughter Sherrill Brown, survived by her son in law Bob Brown.  Cherished Nanny of Christopher (Rhonda), the late Robyn (Paul), Sarah (Shawn), Reid, Seth (Ashley), Sara (Tyler), Adri (John) and Savannah (Alex).  Adored great-Nanny of 10.  Dear sister to Doris Fox and William Dundas and aunt of James (Evert).

A Memorial Service will be held at ST. GEORGE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 250 Mill Street South Newcastle on Saturday May 26th, 2018 at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11 am.  Memorial Donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church or Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.
