Uncle Garnet was such a kind, gentle, loving man. As a kid, I loved going to his country house. When I was young I had some crazy idea that I wanted to work on a ship, but he discouraged me from doing that, and rightly so. He made me a large model ship and named it after my Mom and I. I'll never forget some of his last advice to me "Don't get old, Donna". My memory of Uncle Garnet will never get old.
