Obituary of Newton Carl Selby

Peacefully with family by his side, “Newt” passed away on Tuesday April 17, 2018, at the age of 86 years.

Survived by his loving wife, Christena (Teen) Selby of 64 years. Dear father of Christena Selby, Mary Yeo, Stephen Selby (Patti), Bill Selby (Shelly) and Carol Selby Reed (Paul). Proud grandfather of Christopher Selby (Emily), Mitchel Selby, Carly Reed and Reilly Reed. Pre-deceased by his sister, Doreen. Special thank-you to Laurie Barnes and Laurie Flint for their care and support. As well, our thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Bowmanville Creek Retirement Home.

In honouring Newt’s wishes, private arrangements are entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in place of floral tributes being sent to the family’s homes.
