Obituary of James Peter Murdoch

Surrounded by his loving family, Peter passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday April 5th, 2018, at the age of 90 years.

Beloved husband of Donna and predeceased by his wife Yvonne.  Loving father of Alan (Cynthia), Mark (Jeannie Tighe), Shelley Anderson and Heather Lynch (David Crome).  Adored grandpa of Natasha (Aly), Sebastian (Grace), Chandra (Ryan), Taylor (Natalie), Jaclynn, Matthew, Rachel (Charlie), Natalie & Claudia.  He was predeceased by his grandson Luke Anderson.  Cherished great grandpa of Gabriel, Esme, Brynn & Violet.  Dear brother of Margaret Tabb, William Murdoch and Florence Mantle.  Peter was predeceased by his parents Peter & Mabel Murdoch and siblings Grace Mueller, Daniel Murdoch and Priscilla Gray.  He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and the Byam Family.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville on Monday April 9th, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday April 10th, 2018 at 1 pm, with visitation from 12 – 1 pm.  Cremation to follow, with interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to For The Love of a Child or Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
