My sympathies to all of you. I always loved in the summers when Mom told us we would be going to visit you guys. I will always remember Aunt Iris with her great sense of humour and never fail to think of her if I put my shirt on inside out or backwards (I remember her saying it was bad luck and you had to wear it just as you put it on). Goodbye Iris, my dear friend since childhood. Our friendship was always treasured from nextdoor neighbour kids, going to brownies, church choir, confirmed together at St John''s Church, sleepovers at each other's house and at Auntie Vi's, all the hours spent dressing up in our Mom's old cocktail dresses pretending to be singers, lip syncing to Elvis Presley songs.
Your wedding day 50 yrs ago to the love of your life Bob and celebration of birth's of Bobby, Jason and Kyle.
We kept in touch all these years.
Our visit this past June was as if , no time had passed and we could always pick up where we left off.
