Family, friends & loved ones gathered & who read this today...I am here to honour a special lady to all of us! That special lady is my precious mom with a legacy of 5 children, 9 beautiful grandkids & 4 super great grandkids! She maybe also, an aunt, a loyal friend, grandma, great grandma, a mother-in-law, a sister-in-law or a sister to you. To all of us, she’s unique & that special someone within each heart.
Her life is a testament & shining example of a Godly woman in which she truly was..noble, caring, understanding, patient, hard working & loving mom!
She has been my role model and my rock throughout life, and I am grateful for her presence, her guidance, love and wisdom.
She truly was a lady of tremendous faith and love, which was evident in her interactions with those around her.
My mother was a gift that God blessed me with.
I would not be here today if it was not for My mom’s unconditional & sacrificial love! She took me into her loving arms when I was only 4! She embraced both me and my sister willingly and lovingly! You see, we were motherless & all of heaven knew...we needed her! She accepted us, as her very own!
I’m sure that Heaven will grant a set of angel wings just for her.
Hey Mom, I know you’ve arrived on heaven’s shores....safe and sound, as the Father shares...”To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.”
I know you’ll walk upon roads of gold, fields of the most beautiful vivid coloured flowers. You will hear such sweet vibrant melodies sung by the angels...praising the King Of Kings! Mom they have an entire ochrestraw!
I am sure you will sing along!
When I strum a few chords, I will think of you!
“Mom, Surely Dad will be there doing those crazy cartwheels & sit ups that he did so many times...I am sure you remember them all!”
Mom...I am sure that all your prayers will keep us in line! Yes, we all need a gentle nudge from time to time! When you raised your voice...all knew then, you did not approve! You only yelled to be rid the wrong!
Mom...one thing I admire & observed in you, were your values to promote harmony & forgiveness toward each other! Especially, to those dear to you!
You’ve been a mentor to us all, a kindred spirit, a fun, adventurous individual to be around. So eager to learn...no matter your age! I remember when you were 83 young....jumping on your (grandson) Steven’s trampoline!
Well, mom....now I must project all your values, inspirations & virtues you taught, as your two great grandsons (Easton & Bentley) will greatly benefit from them all!
Memories fill my heart & mind of you Mom. I feel you would have wanted many to hear these words: John 14:1-2
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you!”
I will see you later on mom, just over the hilltop! In that bright land where we will never grow old! Heaven is a big place!
