Quiet, kind, considerate honourable gentleman of the old school who donated many an hour to the local Lions club. A valuable part of the foundation of the club; Bud will be missed by the Lions as well as many in the community. Always enjoyed sitting with him at club meetings. God bless you Bud.

Bud will be truly missed. I treasured the opportunities that we had of knowing Bud. Our memories are just spending time talking to Bud and sharing his passion of being around friends and listening to him talk about his family. Thanks for all the wonderful moments that we have "talked about and shared" over the past 30+ years. We will miss you. Our thoughts are with the family.

It was my great pleasure to know Bud through our shared participation in the Bowmanville Lion's Club. Both of my daughters enjoyed hearing Bud's life stories and marvled at how happy he was. On his 101st birthday, my dear friend Amanda and I baked him a birthday cake and proudly presented it at a Lion's dinner held to honour Bud's incredibly long life. His smile and good nature will be missed.
