This is so sad, both you and Barb were part of our early lives not only in East York but also Whitby. Barb was a beautiful woman with some great outlooks in life. She will be sadly missed. Doug after talking with you tonight , it appears to be somewhat of a relief but I will always remember the great times that we shared together. I will always call both you and Barb as my friends in life, which in my opinion is something that no one can ever replace. Barb was and always will be a sweetheart not only for you but for both Mick and I.. she will be missed.. keep in touch my good friend!!! My thoughts and prayers are with both of you...

We were so very heartbroken to hear of Barb's passing. To say that she was a shining beacon of light as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend is truly an understatement! Barb's incredible spirit of generosity encompassed everyone with whom she came in contact throughout her life. Who amongst us will ever forget her zest for life as well as her spontaneous, hearty laughter and infectious giggles, which boosted everyone's spirits?! Our deepest sympathies are extended to Doug, who is the very epitome of a dedicated, loving husband, as well as Jay, Jeff and all beloved family members, all of whom Barb indicated to us contributed so very much to her happiness over the years.
