So very sorry to hear today about Betty. I ran into Betty a few times at Walmart in Bowmanville and we always managed to spend a very very long time talking in the aisles. What a very patient man her husband proved to be. So very sorry I didn't know about the funeral or I would have been there to share my condolences in person. My thoughts are with you all as you face all the "firsts" in the coming year without her presence. Cousin Wendy

We had the pleasure and honour of knowing Betty as a friend and also as the Mother in Law of our son Andrew. Betty certainly gave and was very selfless. She always put other people first and gave and cared for anyone at anytime. Betty was known to her precious Granddaughter as “ cookie Grandma” and I can never replace that title. Betty was a true gem and one of a kind The world has to know they have lost a true angle love you Betty

It is with great sadness to hear of Betty’s passing.
I, along with many others, had the pleasure to work along side of Betty for many years at the CIBC Bowmanville Branch.
Our Regular Retirees Lunch will never be the same without her.
She will be dearly missed by all those who were part of her life.
