Barbara Anne LaPorte

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in her 89th year.

Beloved wife of the late Roland LaPorte. Loving mother of Linda LaPorte (late), Janet LaPorte (Dane Pearce), John LaPorte (Leslie), Brenda LaPorte Shackles and David LaPorte. Will be remembered by her grandchildren; Stephanie, Andrea, Michael, Kevin, Shannon, Kyle, Emily, Hannah and Flynn; great-grandchildren Tyler (Emily), Hayden, Lexee, Roland and Olivia; great-great granddaughter Sawyer. She is survived by her brother Edward Baker.  A special thank you to the wonderful, compassionate staff at Season's Retirement Residence, Bowmanville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St. S., Bowmanville at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. In lieu of flowers donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville.
