Rich, the boys and all of your family....
I remember the very first time I met Caroline... Such a strong women with such a kind and caring soul. She gave me the biggest warmest hug ever! she captured my heart from that moment and I knew she would be someone I will remember forever. I am so grateful that I had the chance to speak with her a couple of weeks ago. My heart aches for you all.
She will be forever in my heart, I am so grateful I had the absolute privilege of getting to know her.
I will always remember her.

My name is Liana Smith. I worked with Caroline when she was employed with the Municipality of Clarington. Caroline was an amazing woman. During the time she worked with us she was always full of cheer and upbeat regardless of her personal struggles. At staff members birthdays she would happily sing "Happy Birthday" to each person and at all times had a big beautiful smile and hello for everyone. Her inner beauty and loving heart showed for all to see.
