Growing up, I spent so much time with my best friend Lesley, that Christine became a big sister for me as well. She was a good guide, bright, capable, always welcoming and helpful. I have seen her occasionally over the years, followed her life through Lesley and know that she was dearly loved by Gord, AJ, Stephanie, and Gillian. Her passing is a painful shock. I will always remember her with love.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Chris. We remember her well having worked at Bowmanville hospital with her. More so, we'll remember her kind , caring and soothing approach- she was such a great nurse and a lovely person. We were so glad she was present during the birth of our daughter, Anna. Dear Gordon and Family,
I worked with Chris for a few years prior to her retirement. Chris was one of the "special contingent" of Bowmanville nurses that amalgamted with us in Oshawa. She was a kind and skilled caseroom nurse who always put the patient's needs first. Her dry sense of humor and "lets get the job done right " approach was so refreshing. Chris was a real asset to the staff and took the big move in her stride. It was my sincere pleasure to have known her.
