Just realized Byron passed two years ago. I was a little girl at St Monica’s in Toronto when we first met. He married us in 1998 at St John’s in Bowmanville. My husband passed in 2013. I have thought of Byron often and hoped all was well with him and his lovely wife. So very sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless..

Sandy and family, our sincerest thoughts today and the days ahead to you all as you say goodbye to such a wonderful man. I remember the first time we met him. We had told you we were Anglican during a welcome wagon visit. You said you would send him over. He came up the driveway to our new house on that February morning after a big thaw and rain to see us clearing the window well as water flooded our basement. His response just let me rain home and get my boots and I will help you dig. We were unable to be there this week but please know how much we are thinking of you all.

We are all so sad to hear that "Big B" is no longer with us. I fondly remember getting to know Byron as we all started our adult lives with wedding and babies . He was so open and welcoming that he made you feel that you were a part of his family. I was also amazed that a man could get so much stuff into a wood shop and still be able to use it.
Wishing we could be there to provide our support, but will we will have to send our thoughts and prayers instead,
Angela, Ken, Emma, Sloan, Jacob and Boyd

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Byron. He was such a help to me dealing with the passing of my dad and then my mother. Byron was very easy to talk to and understood what I was going through at the time. Sandra you and your family are in my prayers.cd23

Sandra, Karen, Robin, Wendy Family & Friends. Its sad to lose someone in death. What helped me the most was prayers and faith in God’s promise at Psalm 34:18 “God is close to the broken heart: he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” For more free comforting scriptures, please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. God’s Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for will bring about these wonderful promises. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Aunt Sandy, Karen, Robin and Wendy,
I will hold all the more dear my memories from last summer's Family Picnic when we were fortunate enough to all be together at Carusoe Bay. Such a lovely visit filled with witty conversation, much laughter and of course the obligatory family photo session :) This is exactly how I will remember Byron, or as we kids always said, Uncle Byron.
Our sincere sympathies to you and your families,
Christine, Brent, Brittany and Rian
