Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday September 18, 2017

Age 72 years

Beloved wife of the late Joe (Johannes) de Wit.  Loving mother of Alan (Kerri), Colin (Kim), Jeanette and James (Teresa).  Adored grandma of Jamie (Justin), Kyle, Christopher, Conner, Corey, Jenna, Sara & extended family Grandma of Tyler (Alicia), Ryan (Carmen).  Cherished great-grandma of Mason, Carter & Jerzy.  Jean will be sadly missed by her extended family and many friends. 

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Wednesday September 20th, 2017 from 7 – 9 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday September 21st, 2017 at 11 am, with visitation one hour prior.  Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
