Dear Bruce, Kerri. Pam and Ehab ,we met your parents at the Va. Christian Conference. We didn't talk often but when we did it was always like we had just spoken. We visited them a few times. I remember when they came here to visit and Grace broke her foot on the ferry..She never complained for all the days they were here. When David died they sent 1 Doz. long stem red roses. The card read that the flowers were beautiful but life comes with painful thorns. And so it does. BUT GOD...there will be a void here,but a special place filled just on the other side of Eternity. Can you Imagine what she sees? Will be praying for the Great Comforter to be as He said He would be..EMMANUEL..My heart breaks for you all, but in truth I am jealous of her right now! She has finished the race ! And done it well. all out love and prayers..the Engels..NY

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Grace's passing! The Bakers were neighbours when we lived in Burketon. My life has been enriched from having known her, and I only wish I had the chance to tell her that. She was the kindest lady I have ever known, and a wonderful person. My condolences to Bruce and family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Grace's passing. She was unfailingly kind, caring and gentle. She was a wonderful cake artist who provided cakes for my daughter's birthdays over the years. She always had a kind word of support.

Dear Bruce, Pam, Ehab, and family,
It was with a heavy heart that I read about Grace's passing. It's funny how God brings people to mind but I was thinking of Grace just the other day and thanking God for her generous spirit for inviting me and some other women into her home for Bible study when you lived in Burketon. It was such a gift for me to sit down and study God's word. I was going to call her up on the phone to chat and then read the news.
Grace was always so full of life. I remember the fun we had writing the poem for Harry Grace's retirement.
I am so consoled , as you also must be,by the fact that Grace is with the Lord and that she touched so many people. My prayers will continue to be with you all .

I was surprised and saddened to hear of Grace's passing so soon. I was welcomed into her and Bruce's home every visit. She always had some interesting stories and always enjoyed my PSW visits with her and Bruce, always welcoming into their beautiful home.
