My deepest sympathy with love and remembrance of Isabel, who was always smiling and lovely to sit beside and have a good chat with a cup of tea. Whenever you visited her home, you couldn’t help but notice her large collection of teddy bears. I wonder if that explains her soft sensitive side and an ability to seem so young at heart. Her other interest included being creative, she loved to paint (the beautiful sunflower painting in Rob’s and Luanne’s home) and make handmade items for church sales and her grandchildren. I came across this quote and feel it sums up Isabel’s kindness and big heart, “Sometimes our heart speaks best through our hands.” Through her hands, she poured her heart, soul and energy into each and every item. She will be forever remembered and forever missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love Susan

To the Payne family: I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My Mom (Gladys Etcher) was a long-time friend of your Mom. I remember visiting your home in Hampton many times as a child. I also remember your Grandma coming to spend the day, on many occasions, with my Great Grandma (Mom Poolton) at my Grandma's house (Lil King).Your Mom made me my favorite childhood dress.....It was blue with a biased skirt with school-related appliques....oh how I loved that dress.
