Sam was the custodian of Athabasca Street School when I was assigned as principal there. He was a hard working and co-operative person who made many suggestions to help me make physical improvements to the building. I love to tell jokes and he was always a good listening who himself had a delightful sense of humour.
My wife and I offer our sincere condolences to his wife and family during this period of mourning.
