Peacefully, with his family by his side every step of the way, on Sunday, July 16th at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough at the age of 66.
Caring husband of Deborah (Debbi) Guislain. Loving and supportive father of Kristopher (Whitby) and Daniel & Michael (Massachusetts). Cherished son of Phyllis Gibson (John Anderson) and John Guislain (Helen). Dear brother of Gary Gibson (Elaine), Kevin Gibson (Margaret), Kevin Guislain (Terrilyn), John Guislain (Lynette) and Raymond Guislain (Dawn). Predeceased by his Grandparents in New Brunswick. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed dearly by his faithful dog, Max.
Brian LOVED sports – loved his New England Patriots (do it again Tom Brady – another Super Bowl win for Brian), Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics – played darts, loved fishing and CB/Ham Radio’s. He enjoyed his retirement over the last year puttering around and embracing his new relaxing life.
Private Memorial Service for family will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St., Bowmanville – Brian will then travel back home to New Brunswick with a private graveside service and celebration of life with family in August. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke, Diabetes or to the Durham Region Humane Society.
Thank you to all friends and family for their love, support and care over the last week - an unexpected journey with wonderful people by our side to make the path easier to walk.... Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Centenary Hospital – amazing and thoughtful care for Brian and our family.
