LUCY MARIA DE MELO

Surrounded by love and prayers, Lucy passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on

Sunday July 16, 2017 at the age of 55 years.

Loving mother of Robert Lush (Ashley) and Andrew Lush (Katie).  Cherished nana of Ryan.  Spouse of Rodney Lush.  Lucy will be sadly missed by her brother Tiago de Melo (Cheryl) and sister Alda Henderson (Alistair).  She was predeacesed by her parents Horacio & Maria de Melo, and siblings Diane Lewis, Horacio “Ross” de Melo and Brian de Melo.  She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville, on Friday July 21, 2017 from 10 am – 11:45 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street South, Bowmanville at 12 noon.   Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville ~ Continuing Care Unit.
