I had the pleasure of knowing Jeni for over 25 years as we worked together at Swiss Chalet and remained friends always. But I lost touch a few years ago and had no idea that she was ill. My heart is broken. She was one of the most kind and wonderful people I have known. A truly gentle heart and would do anything for anyone that needed help. She will be greatly missed by anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her I am sure. My sincere condolences to her family.

I am so deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jeni. She was my tried and true childhood friend. After college our lives took different paths however every now and then our life experiences would bring us together for a quick catch up and then off we went again. As I sit writing this with tears in my eyes I am remembering the fun, happy friend I knew. As teenagers we would go to each other's house after church on Sunday and spend the day together. One of my most vivid memories is of the two of us in her backyard singing over and over 'I am Woman' by Helen Reddy. Not only were we singing it but we stood in the yard like it was a stage and had ACTIONS to go along with the song! We Rocked! Young People's meetings, hanging out, Sunday afternoon soccer or football at the Vogel's, College, living together in Toronto….all such good times.
To Mandi & Jessy, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. Whenever we would chat she would quickly bring me put to date on what you were doing. She was SO proud of you. And to the rest of the family please accept my deepest condolences. We may have lost touch but your partner/mom/daughter/sister always held a place in my heart. You never forget your childhood friend. May God hold each of you close and may you all find strength in each other.
