To the family of Frank Mohun,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your father and grandfather. I last saw Frank at St. Joseph's Church at the funeral reception for his beloved wife Marielle. My memories of Frank all have to do with tennis. I remembered Frank from the old Oshawa Tennis Club on Ritson Rd. When I joined the Bowmanville Club, Frank was one of the first members to make me feel welcome. He and I played mixed doubles in a few club tournaments togetether. He was always arranging games and this after playing 9 holes of golf. He loved to share his stories about where he and Marielle had travelled.
I am so sorry that I was not able to attend the funeral as I just found out about his death.

Dear family of Frank,
So sorry to hear of Frank's death. I was talking to him a couple of weeks ago and he was having trouble with his hearing aid so we were unable to complete our conversation.
Frank was a very good friend of my wife, Jane, and myself for many years. I followed his love of sports and travelling throughout the world through his descriptive letters.
He and I were on the same page when it came to the love of sports! I know the whole family will feel sorrow without him around.

I had the pleasure of working the Clarington Hall of Fame event on the night that Frank was inducted. It was very important to Frank that he be around to accept his award and I am so very glad that his wishes came true. He was a big part of local sports and it feels good when that is recognized.
From reading this obituary it sounds like Frank had a truly exciting and interesting life. And I hope that all of your special memories help you through the sad times. God bless.
