I have great memories of your mom and wife as we travelled together to Centennial College for social work. We crossed paths for a season in time. I live in PEI now but send my sympathies to your family.

So sad to hear about the loss of a wonderful individual who made such a huge positive difference in my life. Sylvia was the rock of JHS staff being not only a mentor but a warm and caring friend. Her sense of humour saw us through even the darkest times. Her counselling skills could not be taught, she was a true natural and loved by so many clients. Rest in peace dear friend. We have a new angel amongst us.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sylvia's passing! She was a warm, loving person who gave me my first start as a student at John Howard Society. As my Supervisor she taught me so much about humanity and myself, for which I am eternally grateful! My deepest condolences to her whole family, my she live in all of your hearts now.
