Obituary of William "Bill" David Erwin

Retiree of General Motors Peacefully, on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 57 years to Mary (nee Howard). Loving dad of Janet (Dave), Rick (Melinda), Leanne (Rod), and the late David. Loved grampa of Amanda (Jonas), Laura, Nicole and Ryan. Dear brother of Mary (the late Harry), Kate (Webb), Jean (Cleon), Robert (Sharon), and predeceased by his siblings, Ken, Bernard, Rita, and Margie. Will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Friday, February 3rd from 10:30 am – 12 pm. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 12 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
