Obituary of Jean Isabel Shortt

In her 79th year Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday October 3rd, 2010 Beloved sister of Glenn Shortt and the late Allan Shortt and Anne McLeod. Loving aunt of Willis, Ron, Lori, Robert, Mary, Andrew and their families. Jean was born in Oshawa on February 15, 1931. Her employment as a nurse led her to work across Canada and the United States. She is retired from Oshawa General Hospital. Her interest in travel led her on many excursions around the world. She will be deeply missed by many friends and family. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Saturday October 9th, 2010 from 10 – 11 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment of Cremated Remains at Union Cemetery, Oshawa at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to A Charity of your Choice.
