Obituary of Werner Ruthard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Werner Ruthard, on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at his home with his family by his side, at age 70. Werner will be dearly missed by his devoted wife of 47 years, Kaye (nee Gillis). Proud father of Michael (Emily), and Paul (Kerry). Loving Opa to Benjamin, Matthew, Gavin, and Claire. He is survived by his brothers Walter, Herbert, Klaus, and predeceased by his sisters Else and Brigetta.

Service

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Tuesday, November 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 127 Liberty Street, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, November 25th at 11 am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation “Odette Cancer Centre”.
