Age 69 years Retired Ontario Provincial Police Past President of Port Perry Kinsman Club Past Master of Fidelity Lodge, Port Perry Member of Knights Templar First Principal of Succoth Lodge, Uxbridge Past Deputy Grand Superintendent of District 5 Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in the loving arms of his wife on November 17, 2010 Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Morrow). Dear father of Tamarah & her husband Wayne Petrie and Kimberley Braun. Cherished “Tat” of Falon (Bobby) Read; Kerstin (Shane) Armstrong; Cory Petrie (Jenna Gabourie); Annastashia Petrie; Christopher Ross (Carrie Proctor); Jaime Braun; Kaitlyn Braun and Great-grandfather of Meaghan Armstrong, Nolan Read & Carter Armstrong. John is survived by his brother-in-law Hugh & Betty Morrow, niece Jandy (Keith) Beresford and nephew Corey Morrow. Visitation will be held THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday November 19th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday November 20th, 2010 at 2 pm.
